  Scott Auker
Scott Auker is an accomplished real estate professional having been involved with the development, construction, or management of over 5,000 multi-family units and 1,000,000 s.f. of commercial projects across the Midwest and Eastern United States. His primary experience has been leading the development efforts of rental multi-family projects, including land acquisition, entitlements, project design, debt and equity financing, construction management, leasing and property management, and stabilized project investment sales.

Mr. Auker holds a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.), with a specialization in Real Estate and Urban Development, from The American University and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (B.A.E.), with a specialization in Construction Management, from the Pennsylvania State University. He resides in Fort Lauderdale where he is active in local church and charitable organizations.

 

  Amy Boulris
Mrs. Boulris is a devoted wife and mother of four.  Professionally, she practices law inthe area of property rights defense, particulary in the context of eminent domain, inverse condemnation, property-related civil rights claims, and related land-use litigation.  She joined the Gunster firm as a shareholder in 2012 after over 20 years of successful practice with the nationally recognized property rights firm, Bringham Moore.  She hold Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating for legal skills and professional ethics, is a member of the Florida Trend Magazine's "Legal Elite" Hall of Fame for her property rights work, and is a frequent national lecturer on the subject.  Among other distinctions, she has been recognized among the "Top Fifty Women Lawyers in Florida" by Super Lawyer Magazine.
 

  Rob Buckel
Robert M. Buckel is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a Wills, Trusts and Estates law specialist. Mr. Buckel has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Florida Super Lawyers, and Florida Monthly's "Top Florida Lawyers". He heads up the Trust & Estates section of the law firm Salvatori, Wood, & Buckel, P.L.

Mr. Buckel attended both the University of Texas and University of Dayton, graduating in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.). He went on to get his Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) and Master of Law degree in Estate Planning (LL.M.) from the University of Miami in 1981.

Mr. Buckel and his wife, Donna, are long time residents of Naples with their sons, Sam and Jonathan. They attend Center Point Community Church in Naples, Florida where they have been members for over 20 years.

 

  Sandy Casteel
Sandy has dedicated more than four decades to community involvement and leadership at a variety of non-profit organizations throughout South Florida. Sandy has a passion for historic preservation, citizen’s issues, responsible growth and children and families. Sandy is an active member of First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale, serving as a Sunday School Teacher, and a member of the Building, Finance and Family Book Store Committees. Sandy received the Broward County Historical Commission Heritage Award in 1986; was named Citizen of the Year by the City of Fort Lauderdale in 1986; received the Historic Preservation Service Award for Service from 1975 to 1993; and September 24, 1993 was named “Sandy Casteel Day” by the City of Fort Lauderdale. Sandy currently serves as a member of the board of directors for Historic Stranahan House, Bonnet House, and Junior League of Fort Lauderdale. Sandy is a past board member of Sheridan House Family Ministries. Sandy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.

Sandy has been married to Wynne for more than 50 years, and they have three children and seven grandchildren.

 

  Luis Chiappy
Luis is Executive Vice President of the National Division of AXA Advisors and Senior Manager of AXA Advisors' South Florida Branch, one of the largest of its kind in the state of Florida, and comprised of approximately 250 financial professionals. Luis earned the following professional designations: CFP® professional (from the College of Financial Planning), Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant (CLU and ChFC respectively, both from the American College) and LUTCF (from the Life Underwriter Training Council).

In 1998, Luis was inducted into the company ’s Prestigious Hall of Fame. In October 2003, Luis was elected President of AXA Advisors Old Guard, which represents the entire AXA Advisors sales force

Luis is a member of the Miami Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (MAIFA),the American Association of Life Underwriters (AAALU), the General Agency Managers' Association (GGAMA), the Society of Financial Professionals, Miami Chapter and the United Way of Dade County.

Luis is a member of the board of governors of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and past Chairman of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.

Luis was born in Cuba and came to the United States at the age of six. Luis grew up in Miami and now resides in Coral Gables with his wife, Cary, and their two children.

 

  Wayne Cotton
Wayne is currently Sales Manager; Anderson & Mirage Wheeler / a Division of JJ Haines. Prior to joining Anderson & Mirage Wheeler, Wayne owned his own firm, Design Flooring Distributors, a wood flooring distribution company with offices in Pompano Beach and Orlando. Wayne is immediate past chairman and a member of the executive committee of the National Wood Flooring Association, and a member of the board of directors of The Hardwood Federation. He currently serves as Chairman of Boca Raton Community Church, and trustee and chairman of the Parent Council at Palm Beach Atlantic University
 
Wayne previously served as co-chairman of BeachFest 2003; chairman of First Care Family Resources; and president of the parent-teacher fellowship and chairman of the Headmaster Council at Westminster Academy. He graduated from Stranahan High School in Fort Lauderdale.
 
Wayne and his wife, Deretta, have been married for 29 years, and have three children.
 

  H. Collins Forman, Jr.
Collins is the third generation of Formans to live in, and the second generation of Formans to be born in Fort Lauderdale.  When Collins' grandparents, Hamilton McClure Forman and Blanche Collins Forman came to south Florida in 1910, there were only 150 people living in the greater Fort Lauderdale area. Collins' parents, Hamilton C. Forman and Doris D. Forman, have been political activists and Christian workers in Broward County all of their adult lives.  He has an older brother, Austin, who also lives here and is an entrepreneur.

Collins is a lawyer, practicing as a solo practitioner and concentrating on real estate related litigation and transactions; he also works with other members of his family in the management of the family's landholdings around the state. 

Collins graduated from Nova University School of Law in 1986.  He holds a BBA in International Business from Florida Atlantic University and was graduated from Nova High School in 1970. Collins is an elder at the First Christian Church of Fort Lauderdale, where he also leads Sunday morning worship and teaches youth Sunday School. Collins is a dedicated family man. 

He and his wife, Jennifer, have been married over 30 years and have six children. 

 

  Adam House
Adam is a successful entrepreneur having built multiple companies from the ground up, including Velocitude, which Akamai acquired in June of 2010. As the founder and CEO, he oversaw Velocitude's strategic direction, working directly with flagship accounts as well as representing Velocitude in the marketplace.  Before founding Velocitude, Mr. House served as the President, Financial Services Division of V12 Group. His responsibilities included P&L Management, F500 Account Management, and running the day-to-day operations of the division. Prior to V12, Mr. House was the founder and CEO of DMA International where he combined his knowledge of the financial industry along with his business skills to position DMA as the industry leader for lead generation, doubling revenues for five consecutive years. DMA was subsequently acquired by V12 Group.

Adam and his wife, Vanessa, have 4 boys - Adam Jr., Hudson, Andrea and recently celebrated the birth of little Ashton.

 

  Ken McKenzie
Ken McKenzie joined Airbus 2011 as Senior Vice President, Customer Services and Chief Operating Officer, for Airbus Americas. In this position, Ken oversees two primary facilities – Airbus’ Spares Center in Ashburn, Virginia and Airbus

Training Center in Miami, Florida. He is also responsible for Airbus Americas’ entire customer and supplier support teams, based at Airbus Americas headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, as well as the organization’s regional field service representatives and managers, located at airline customer hubs throughout North, Central and South America, Caribbean and Hawaii.  

Ken has spent some 30 years in the aviation field. Among his most recent positions, he came to Airbus from Spirit Airlines, where he was Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all aspects of airport operations, emergency response, flight operations, regulatory affairs, inflight, operational control center and technical operations. Prior to that, Ken spent five years at WestJet as Executive Vice President – Operations, where he oversaw airport operations, emergency response, flight operations, government relations and regulatory affairs, inflight, operational control center, technical operations and fleet
planning/procurement. 

For 14 years he was a pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces, and still holds an FAA Airline Transport Pilot’s license, Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot’s License and Transport Canada Commercial Helicopter Pilot’s License. A native of Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada, Ken received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Strayer University. He has also successfully completed the Ivey Executive Program of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Ken and his wife, Sonia, have two teenage daughters.

 

  John Offerdahl
Former All-Pro Miami Dolphins linebacker, John Offerdahl & his wife, Lynn, currently operate seven quick-casual restaurants aptly named Offerdahl’s Café Grill – restaurants that feature “fresh-baked, JUST-GRILLED, all-day great food!”  The bakery Café serves fresh-baked baguettes, bagels and pastries with soups and sandwiches.  The specialty Grill features just-grilled steak, shrimp, chicken and salmon over rice, salad and pasta bowls topped with unique combinations of fresh vegetables and John’s signature dressings & sauces. Offerdahl’s Café Grill is also the home to the Gridiron Griller, John’s alter-ego personality!  This griller-of-the-gridiron persona developed from John’s love of the tailgate and backyard BBQ experience.  Since childhood, John has been played on the grill & gridiron most every weekend!  Video footage of John with current and past sport celebrities – like NFL’s winningest coach Don Shula & Yankee’s World Champion skipper Joe Girardi – grilling up their family favorites are shown on TV.  In 2010, John launched his first South Florida Gridiron Grill-Off… a food & wine festival where fans get to eat, drink, vote and compete with their favorite celebrity athletes & chefs!

In February of 2005, Offerdahl’s Café Grill received the Nations Restaurant News (NRN) distinction of being in the Top 50 Fast-Casual concepts in America.  Shortly after the release of the Top 50 Fast Casual, the NRN recognized Offerdahl’s Café Grill with the prestigious “Hot Concept” award – a celebrated award given to only 5 trending and “Hot Concepts” in the restaurant industry!  Past recipients include Cheesecake Factory, Starbucks, Smokey Bones, Panera Bread and Baja Fresh.

In 1990, John & Lynn, co-founded Offerdahl’s Bagel Gourmet and grew the concept to 10 stores before joining three other bagel entrepreneurs in March of 1995 to form Einstein Bros. Bagels, a national bagel retailer.  From March 1995 to June of 1996 John served as V.P. of Operations for Florida.  He was involved in growing 27 stores in the Florida market during that time.   The public company currently operates over 400 stores system-wide.  John served on Einsteins’ Board of Directors until the spring of 1997.

From 1986 to 1994, John was a 5x All-Pro middle linebacker for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League.  During his playing years, he captained the defense and received numerous accolades, including the NFL’s Rookie of the Year in 1986, the NFL’s Ed Block Courage Award, the Nat Moore Community Service Award and the Traveler’s Man of the Year Award.  He also started in the Pro Bowl his first five years.  Off the field, John served as the union representative for the Player’s Association and player counsel to the NFL Management Advisory Board.

Prior to his career with the Dolphins, John attended Western Michigan University and graduated with a degree in biochemistry.

John has been involved in many community service organizations across South Florida and is currently the chairman of the board for the National Christian Foundation of South Florida, is a board member of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association and a member of the Orange Bowl Committee. He enjoys speaking to schools, church groups and other organizations, sharing his experiences in football and business as well as his personal life.  John likes to read, spend time with his family, and participate in games of all types – especially Bridge.

John and Lynn live in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, with their three children, Alexandra, Drew and Jameson. 

 

  Mike Pappas
Michael I. (Mike) Pappas, President and CEO of The Keyes Company, is responsible for providing the company's strategic vision, overseeing operations, and planning expansions and acquisitions.

Mike is currently Vice Chairman of the National Association of Realtors Big Broker Advisory Board. He is also serving as a director for the Trulia.com Advisory Board. He had the great honor of having held the Chairman’s position for the Young President’s Organization. Mike has been recognized as Real Estate "Up and Comer of the Year" by Price Waterhouse and South Florida magazine.

 

  Jeff Roschman
Jeff is a private investor focusing on investments in Financial Services, Hospitality, Technology and Multi-Media Companies. Jeff is the Founder and Chairman of Landmark Bank, NA., a federally chartered national bank, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has also developed over 100 commercial real estate properties.

Jeff holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Florida

Jeff serves as a Trustee at Pine Crest School and is a member of The Young Presidents Organization.

Jeff has been married to his wife, Kerry, for 14 years and together they have two daughters, ages 13 and 10.

 

  Wes Shelton 
Wes is a consultant with SM2 Advisors, a Fort Lauderdale based Consultancy Firm. Wes is also the President and CEO of New River Medical Group, LLC., a South Florida based investment group that owns and operates a well-established clinical laboratory. Mr. Shelton’s primary area of expertise is in Real Estate Finance and Business Acquisitions. Originally obtaining his Mortgage Broker’s license in 2002, Wes eventually started his own business. In September of 2006, Wes made the move into the oil and gas industry where he helped build Leor Energy into one of the greatest success stories in the oil and gas sector in recent decades. Leor grew from a virtually unknown natural gas exploration company to a $2.55 billion dollar enterprise upon its sale to EnCana Corporation in November of 2007.
Mr. Shelton holds a B.S. in Psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and an M.B.A with a Concentration in Finance from Nova Southeastern University. Wes also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Heart Gallery of Broward County, a non-profit agency that focuses on finding adoptive homes for children in foster care. Wes and his wife Kelli reside in Fort Lauderdale and have two children, Huntley, and Kendall.
 

  Daniel L. Smith 
Dan Smith has combined 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate and development industry, with raising billions of dollars for investment grade corporations on Wall Street and in national management with a Fortune 100 corporation to provide successful implementation of exit strategies for selling mid tiered privately held businesses.  As founder of a technology staffing company based in North Carolina and Co-founder of two real estate firms in South Florida, Dan has successfully directed his companies from start up to billions of dollars in transactions which include the niche of orchestrating the sale and placement of businesses including their real estate.  

Prior to the establishment of his companies, Dan served as Vice President and Florida Operating Partner for Property Company of America (PCA) responsible for the development of investment grade multi-family communities in several Florida cities, including Port Royale here in Ft. Lauderdale.  Upon the acquisition of PCA’s Multi-Family Development Division by Main Street Development, Dan served as Vice President, taking the lead in obtaining development entitlements in a multitude of jurisdictions in Florida.  Since leaving Main Street, Dan has focused his efforts on the sale privately held businesses with targeted values of ten million dollars and up, establishing real estate investment partnerships, disposition, financing, sale lease back, and workout transactions for investors, life companies, pension funds, corporations and banks operating in the South East, Midwest, Europe and Central America. 

Dan’s practice in real estate and “business of selling businesses” encompasses transactions valuation of over two billion dollars of business and property value including the sale of investment grade multi-family properties, the sale of raw land and finished lots to developers of single family, multi-family an commercial product as well as all aspects of financing including negotiation and closing of multi-level loans.  

His career in commercial real estate began after eight (8) successful years with Owens Corning Fiberglas where he served as National Accounts Manger for the corporation’s largest Southeastern US based national accounts.  In the capacity, he was responsible for marketing, production planning, logistics and corporate financial analysis.

Dan’s greatest blessing is his family; starting with his wife Julie (married for thirty-two years); two grown daughters, a son-in-law and granddaughter. Jessica works at Children’s National Medical Center specializing as a Solid Tumor Nurse Coordinator in the Pediatric Oncology Division, son-in-law, Josh (Smith), is an attorney with the Federal Election Commission and granddaughter Madeline live in the Washington, DC area; Jackie lives in Charlotte, North Carolina and works for Carolinas Medical Center as the Administrative Services Manager responsible for management of hospital events and customer service.  Dan and Julie are members of Rio Vista Community Church in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Dan has been on the Board of Directors of Sheridan House Ministries for over 25 years, Knox Theological Seminary for 17 years, Westminster Academy, Charlotte Christian School and many others both professional and civic boards in Florida and North Carolina with the goal of serving God in his community.

 

  Brett Stepelton 
Brett is a South Florida native who started his career working in various capacities for Stiles Corporation, a leading full-service real estate developer with projects throughout the Southeastern United States. Since 2000, Brett has had the privilege of working fulltime within his family’s foundation, the Festus & Helen Stacy Foundation, where he currently serves as Trustee & Vice President of Operations, supporting charitable works worldwide that are consistent with making a genuine Christian impact benefiting mankind.

Brett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Clemson University, and a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.

Brett and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Brooke and Patrick.

 

  Stephan Tchividjian 
Stephan Tchividjian serves as Founder and President of the Board of the National Christian Foundation of South Florida, and the Co-Executive Director of Lifework Leadership of South Florida. He has more than 25 years of experience serving on a variety of boards of directors and leadership teams for both for-profit and non-profit organizations.  Stephan has lived in South Florida since 1979 where he and his wife, Lisa, have raised their five children. Stephan earned his B.A. Degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University and was ordained in 1994. The eldest grandson of Billy Graham, Stephan proudly carries on his family’s tradition of ministry.
